BTT One-Shot: A Penny For My Thoughts, Ep. 6

A new game style for us warrants some commentary, so that is exactly what we tackle in this episode. We discuss the pace of the game and some things we did not include in the basic format of the game. All in all, we enjoyed this play through and think some compelling stories were created, which sparked some conversation on the dynamics of our roleplaying group and how the session reminded us of previous campaigns and one-shots.

Here is the season 2 finale! In this action-packed episode, the group sets into motion a plan that will really shake up the city. As they escape, they are trading one set of uncertainties for another. What will become of Healing Hands, the Council, and Consiglio; are no longer important questions. They must now address how they will survive the frozen tundra outside the dome. Bundle up, it looks like season 3 of Elements of War will be quite chilling.

EOW S2A narrow escape and a quick trip back to the hideout… but not for long. Everyone agrees, staying in the city is no longer an option with another council member dead. They hatch a plan that will ensure their escape and most certainly turn the entire city on it’s ear.

BTT EoW 2.50: Panic In The Air

EOW S2The group squares off with another council member. This time a couple of our characters are in grave danger. This crazy scene is all topsy-turvy, for even our dice rolls, as a character with the best of intentions misses with an epic roll, but the unassuming character with ulterior motives seems to save the day (for now) with a less than stellar roll. But we see through a couple of flashback scenes, that it’s that hidden agenda that shows of a greater conflict to come.
