BTT EoW 3.77: Adverse Reactions

In this episode, the group react to the betrayal that has been exposed and a heated debate ensues. Was the betrayal necessary to thwart a much more sinister betrayal as one character proposes? Or do their fates become much more entangled in a web of lies that will take much longer to sort out?

BTT One-Shot: Stargate SG-1, Ep. 3

We had a lot of fun with this episode, despite the mission and our rolls not going according to plan. An eerily deserted base camp, a disabled DHD, an unexpected acid rain storm, and in true BTT fashion, a plethora of word-play jokes are what the group has to overcome on the first leg of their mission.

As we are getting close to the end of Season 3, we comment on how far the story has come so far, and how quickly things could change in the season finale. We also talk about some of the mechanics for advancing characters in the OpenD6 system, all in preparation for some of the secrets and “bombs” we expect to drop in the Season 3 finale session and rolling into Season 4 of Elements of War.

BTT One-Shot: Stargate SG-1, Ep. 2

In this episode we attempted to tackle the mechanics of a “Convince Encounter”. Our horrible roles didn’t allow things to go as smoothly as intended, although they made it highly entertaining as the group escapes a diplomatic crisis. Then, this group of newbies  also have to escape a crisis in the Gate Room, and end off-world  without a full mission briefing. What could go wrong?

Most of the team finally reassembles, and it looks as if they have a new unexpected mission. But as they, still somewhat reluctantly, prepare to set out, some dark secrets are finally brought into the light. It’ seems the reunion may be short-lived.
