This episode is all about advancing our superpowers. A character seeks to learn to control their ability rather that be controlled by it, and others seek to add to their powers for their own benefits. But not everyone is successful, and there are some hilarious consequences.

In this episode we pick back up with the decision of killing one of their own still looming. With a lot of elemental “bad juju” going on, there is quite a bit of discord, so conflict ensues, however with little effect… at least to the naked eye. There is still a lot of plot and story brewing beneath the surface, and yet another twist to close out the episode.

Last commentary episode we speculated that a new twist was right around the corner, and oh boy, were we right. In this episode, we spend some time theorizing what this “root virus” is all about. We also discuss the reason why such an inter-personal conflict episode was inevitable at this point in the story. A lot may have been vented by the characters, but they still remain on the brink of a dark decision… killing one (at least one) of their own.

We take it back the the roots of the Bone Throwers Theater play style with some intense player versus player conflict. It gets kinda crazy as both characters and players exhibit multiple personalities within the same scene. And of course, Jordan throws in the creepiness factor oh so well… but he is not the only one.

Dark Star turns superhero detective and figures out a couple other secret identities. But his senses aren’t too keen as he forges the alliance that is beneficial to him, but not his “partner”. And then there are the frat boys… Let’s just say, what happens at the frat house, never stays at the frat house, which is quite unfortunate for one of our esteeming characters.

Wanton mayhem, violence, and destruction, that’s what was jam-packed in this episode, and it came from the most unlikely of characters. It seems the group adds yet another ticking time bomb of fury to it’s collection. And even though that is par for the course, not every character is willing to accept it without a fight, so to speak.

Some characters desperately try to hide their secrets in this episode; but to no avail. Science has caught up with Kennedy and has pinned her as The Blue Scorpion. And Phase’s identity as Franklin is used against him by another one of our heroes. But certainly this will not come back to haunt him later!

The Black House Raid quickly becomes the Black House Escape in this episode. Trapped on two separate floors, the characters battle whatever Jordan can throw at them. We get a sense that as players we are fearing for their lives, because despite some really hot dice rolls, character points and fate points were flying off the shelves very early on this session.

Things get a little crazy in this episode of Fiasco. Characters display their powers for the first time with some fatal repercussions… or at least with some over the top stereotypical fraternity hijinks. This story is taking on the flavor of a college movie where no jokes are off limits.

Although the last few episodes have answered a lot of questions, Jordan has stayed true to form and has still left a lot of mystery in the air. We seem to be asking more questions than we started out with, including how long is this Bear character actually going to stick around. Jordan reveals how he makes some of his plot choices, and gives some insight on the makeup of The Council. He actually was quite forthcoming with this info. This could only mean there’s another big twist right around the corner. Stay tuned!

We introduce our character names, alter egos, and superpowers. In our first few scenes we get a couple origin stories and some player versus player conflicts already… in true fiasco fashion. Jeff chooses a black die and the table frames a ridiculous scene. Johnny gets a black die for his scene involving multiple dimensions, and Jeremy gets a white die and an early lead in Dillon’s feud with Kennedy.

Working their way though the Black House, characters pick up new pieces to the puzzle, face down some unexpected proxies, and rescue the new characters. Sounds productive right? However, there are a few things that will leave you breathless in this explosive and earth shattering episode.

We’re polishing off the character creation phase in this episode, to include some interesting (or disturbing) origin stories, and taking all the loose ends and weaving them together to create a complicated conundrum of how all our characters are more closely connected than anyone realized. Ok, maybe we’re just pulling on a thread that will totally unravel the world as we know it. It’s a matter of perspective, and only time will tell.

The two side of the story converge as everyone is focused on the “Black House”. The main group works to covertly infiltrate the base, and Archi and Bear are interrogated, seemingly by The Council itself. What are our characters really up against? It appears we have yet to find that out for sure.

She has been an outstanding player so far and we can’t wait to put out what she has contributed to the story. For her first episode, we see the impact of our previous “side-shots” as we bering back our beloved street kids. We knew there was something compelling about these kids.
