BTT One-Shot: The Skeletons, Ep. 4

The final phase of the game, The Desecration. The first round of the intruders have a different prize in mind, and then the final intruders spark an interesting change in how the skeletons respond. Previously, the party went to the theater, and learned that Dyncham is planning to sacrifice one that is “pure in heart.”

After sharing information, the party gets ready to infiltrate the Dyncham estate. As they prepare to do so, they are ambushed. Unfortunately, there will be a terrible consequence…

Previously on Bone Throwers Theater, Greyson Digby and Valentine Montecute went to see Cyril’s sister, Haylee. He was going to ask about Cyril, but Haylee needs his help with another pressing issue.

Having escaped from their prison on the grounds of Dyncham House, they return to Lord Walsham with their newly gather information.

A new member is waiting with Walsham at the Seven Stars. Benedict is a monk who had lived as a hermit. He came to the crown’s attention after rescuing a nobleman from highwaymen.

Refusing to believe that a member of the royal court could be involved in the theft of the magical cogs or heterodox religious practice, Walsham instructs the party to investigate further…

While investigating the theft of the magical cogs, our party was felled in an ambush!

After being taunted by a personal foe, the party manages to sneak out of the building where they are held prisoner. However, they are not out of danger yet!

As they try to escape the Dyncham estate, they are noticed by a dogged, persistent enemy. Can they reach the safety of the river, or will the fangs of defeat sink into their flesh?

Previously, A shipment bound for the Horologist Guild’s house was stolen. It contained gears for a specific mechanical experiment commissioned by Queen Beth’s government.

The Queen, head of the new Angellan Church founded by her father, is afraid that some of her subjects may be loyal to the Rheeman Church. She is afraid they may go to any extreme to bring the ancient faith back to the Realm of Angels.

The party has been tasked by the Queen’s spymaster, Lord Walsham, with finding who would steal from the Crown. As they investigated, they were attacked. As we join them, they are just hanging by a thread…

Previously, the party went to the Horologist’s Guild to learn more of the shipment of gears that was stolen. After talking to Master Ambrose and Will Cooper.

The party travels north of Dinium to investigate the site from which the gears are stolen. Unfortunately, things don’t go as planned.

We’re excited to present the first episode in our new campaign. In this episode, we introduce some new players, the new characters, and wade into this new campaign setting, based loosely on Elizabethan England. We hope you enjoy!

Announcing our New Campaign

Hey, folks! As I previously posted, Bone Throwers Theater is starting a new campaign. We’re really excited to bring a new world to you. This campaign is called Angel’s Guard — and we’re really proud of how it’s coming together. Our resident graphic artist, Jeremy, has devised some really cool art to go with the story. Here’s a taste of that.

You’ll see more on the Facebook page once the show launches.

In addition to the new campaign, the podcast will be dropping on a new day of the week day. Starting on March 5, new episodes will drop on Mondays. That’s right, next week! We hope this change helps make your workweek a little bit brighter.

While we fully intend to maintain the traditional podcast RSS, we’re also going to start uploading the episodes to youtube. This should make it a bit easier to share on different websites. And it will increase streaming flexibility.

2018 Relauch

Well, it’s been a while. We do apologize for that, but we are excited to announce that new episodes will start up in 2018. There’s a new campaign, with some new players as well as some familiar ones.
