The story begins as the characters’ common associate gathers them together to investigate a mysterious delivery. Jordan confesses that the mystery is based on a actual real life event. Of course, there is more horror to come than what was in the actual news report.

A narrow escape and a quick trip back to the hideout… but not for long. Everyone agrees, staying in the city is no longer an option with another council member dead. They hatch a plan that will ensure their escape and most certainly turn the entire city on it’s ear.

Jordan picks up a new one-shot via a Kickstarter for us to play, Cthulhu Dark. This fits our gravitation toward our usual dark and spooky stories. We’ll create our characters, come up with some interesting backstories, and by the end of the episode Jordan says “The victims will should be ready.”

The group squares off with another council member. This time a couple of our characters are in grave danger. This crazy scene is all topsy-turvy, for even our dice rolls, as a character with the best of intentions misses with an epic roll, but the unassuming character with ulterior motives seems to save the day (for now) with a less than stellar roll. But we see through a couple of flashback scenes, that it’s that hidden agenda that shows of a greater conflict to come.
