Clandestine train station meetings, cryptic and misleading phone conversations, paranoia of being a sitting duck while helpless in the hospital… we hit a myriad of mystery tropes, but the story is heating up as the threat seems to be more complex than anticipated. And at the end even the unassumingly innocent reveal something horrifically magical.
